Retail Strategy Consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME) with more than 38 years of hands-on business management experience and effectively bi-lingual SSG approved Trainer with Golden Compass School, Spa Menu of Mary Chia, Kenko Academy, Osmium Training Institute, NATC Institute, ABC – AAARYA Business College, Training Masters’ College conducting both synchronous (face-to-face classroom training) as well as asynchronous (Home Based Learning) WSQ courses in English and Chinese.

An active member of Adult Educators Network (AEN) and actively involved in the Special Interest Group (SIG) of International Entrepreneurship by IAL for China, Myanmar, Philippines and Indonesia. Participate in the EOS presentation for Professional Development Conference 2019 by IAL.

Partner of WeTalk, a learning circle for HSK Chinese language proficiency and Independent Business Advisor of Bigg World- a blockchain powered autonomous online to offline (O2O) marketing platform.

Started my retail training work with Emporium Holdings Group in 1983 when I was he Retail Unit Manager of Oriental Emporium (Bedok) and appointed the Course Leader / Trainer – English and Chinese for the Group’s In house training programs for both sales and executive staff. As a member of the Training Committee I was also the Chief Coordinator of the Group’s QCC program.

In the early 90s my oversea ventures began with Trade Development Board Holding (the current International Enterprise Singapore) and several local companies like Liang Court, Pisces Group and in the later years work with listed companies like CapitaLand, Guocoland, Keppel Land and Macquarie. Key focus was asset and retail property development and management in China – Wanda Group.

After returning from overseas corporate life in 2016 I aspired to share my business management experience through training and education. I got my ACTA (Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment) in 2017 and completed the Diploma in Retail Management in 2020.

  • Training of more than 120 Property Management Managers and 300 Customers Service staff Training of more than 220 Retail Executives and 600 Sales Assistants of Emporium Holdings
  • Years of hands-on business management experience in retail, commercial property management, customers service management, marketing, branding and in-house training.
  • Successfully organised three 5 Days Annual Macquarie Wanda Conferences for 50 senior managers’ delegates in Hong Kong and trip to Singapore.
  • Improve retail asset performance of Wanda portfolio by 70%
  • Accomplished Leasing assignment of more than 55,000 sq m of retail space of the Wanda portfolio
  • Interviewed more than 800 over respondents from all walks of lives in Singapore and 2000 over respondents in China.
